On 28 November, Air Transport Publications, home of the industry-leading publications MRO Management and Aircraft Cabin Management, hosted the fourth Aircraft Cabin Maintenance Conference at The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow.
The one day format remains popular as it reduces time out of the office while offering insight from a variety of industry leaders across the cabin interiors sector, as well as excellent networking opportunities. Attendees heard informative content from highly respected marketing, branding and passenger experience experts, alongside specialised insight from airline, engineering and technical representatives.
As ever, many of the presentations were specific case studies undertaken by our speakers. These explored the challenges and compromises that form an integral part of providing passengers with a safe, reliable, comfortable and attractive environment for travel – whether for narrowbody or widebody aircraft, and in whichever part of the cabin they may be. The day also looked at the ways in which these interiors are designed, built and maintained, as well as how they can be modified and upgraded.
